JOIN AMBERLEY SNYDER AT THE 2026 BARR CONFERENCE

Amberley was born in California during her dad’s baseball career, as the second to six children. Amberley fell in love with horses at a young age and began competing in rodeo events by seven. Her talent led her to win the World All Around Championship in 2009 with the National Little
Britches Rodeo Association.

In January of 2010, Amberley was involved in a rollover truck accident, leaving her paralyzed from the waist down. Eighteen months after that day, with a seatbelt on her saddle, she returned to competing in rodeo. As the only professional paralyzed barrel racer in the United States, she continues to compete and has qualified for two Wilderness Circuit Finals as well as the American Rodeo.

Netflix brought Amberley’s story to life in the biopic film “Walk. Ride. Rodeo” titled after her children’s book. Amberley and her horse, Power, have since then played themselves in the Paramount Series, Yellowstone, as well as a film titled “A Cowgirl’s Song.” Amberley was recently married and when she isn’t on a horse or on a stage, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her family in Utah.

Amberley’s tenacity and perseverance has inspired many. For over fifteen years, she has been sharing her story of triumph over tragedy to audiences around the world. As a speaker, social influencer, barrel racer, author and actor, she strives to motivate others to get back on the horse.

Amberley Snyder will join us from the stage at our upcoming National Conference taking place in Rancho Mirage, CA on April 22 – 23, 2026.
