Dr. Martinrex Kedziora

Dr. Martinrex Kedziora is the 14th Superintendent of Schools for the Moreno Valley Unified School District, which serves approximately 33,000 students. In his ten year tenure with the district, the graduation rate has increased from 65.7% to 91.2%, an increase of 25.5%, higher than the state and national level. 

In addition to being a Superintendent, Dr. Kedziora is also involved as the Board Chairman for the California League of Schools (CLS), an organization which serves teachers and administrators K-12. He is also a committee member of the Urban Education Committee for the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA), among various other educational organizations.

As a resident of Moreno Valley, Dr. Kedziora is heavily involved in the community by attending various events, ceremonies, religious gatherings and local organization meetings. He recently created the Hearts YOUnited kindness campaign, inviting members of the community to become part of a Community Collaborative to become mentors for Moreno Valley Unified School District students and partnered with the Anne Frank House and Freedom Writers Foundation to inspire and empower students to make a positive change in their community.

He also spearheaded the MVUSD Community Wellness Center, which has made a tremendous impact in the lives of over 21,000 families in just three years of its existence. It has successfully eliminated barriers to learning by providing students with a school-based program while increasing health, safety, academic support, activities and free resources.
