At Hemet, the BARR model has helped to reduce the freshmen failure rate by half.
"We have seen so much success with our Block meetings with teachers being able to collaborate on ways to help our students succeed," according to Hemet BARR Coordinator Suzanne Arnold. "We have seen much success in behavior improvement, interpersonal skills, and school climate due to the I-Time Curriculum lessons. Our fidelity with using real time data and building intentional relationships has made BARR at Hemet High a real success."
