We are excited to share that the BARR Team continues to grow.
Please help us welcome the following individuals into the BARR Team.
Janice Eldridge is not new to BARR but will be taking on a new role as Associate Director of Schools. Janice was previously a BARR Program Manager, BARR Regional Manager and has provided direct coaching to over 35 schools across the country. Prior to joining the BARR Center in 2016, Janice taught for 14 years at Noble High School in North Berwick, Maine where she also served as BARR Coordinator and ran an RCT. Janice was named 2014 Maine Social Studies Teacher of the Year.
Nathan Schmidt, Finance Director
Nathan (Nate) Schmidt has been working in finance for the past 20 years. His previous positions have been in the medical field. He has both start-up and non-profit experience. Nate believes BARR’s mission-minded model with educators is similar to the doctors he has supported who understand business – but are driven by patient care and medicine first.
Janka Arsenault, Finance Manager
Janaka Arsenault is not a new BARR team member but will be changing positions to Finance Manager for the BARR Center. Janka brings nearly 15 years of professional experience in finance, operations and quality assurance. Prior to this role, Janka served as the Grants Manager at Spurwink Services, Inc.
Ali Sipkins, Executive Assistant & Special Projects Manager
Ali Sipkins joined the BARR team in spring of 2019. Ali has 15 years of nonprofit management experience at her prior organization, Youth Frontiers, serving in multiple roles including Senior Executive Assistant, Director of Marketing and Communications, Director of External Relations, Donor Relations Manager, Evaluation Coordinator, Volunteer and Internship Coordinator and Staff Development Coordinator. She has served on multiple community boards and committees including YMCA Camp Warren.
Pat Finn, Customer Solutions Manager
Patrick Finn is a Customer Solutions Manager at BARR. Having an extensive background in IT sales with an emphasis on Public Sector, he’s worked with numerous State Government organizations and K-12 Districts throughout the country. In his current role at the BARR center, Patrick is helping to grow the organization by leveraging his business development expertise and supporting the tireless efforts of his passionate colleagues.
