Amanda Baum

Coach and Trainer

Amanda Baum spent over 20 years as a classroom teacher, starting in the elementary setting and ending her classroom teaching career in 7th grade mathematics, then moving into higher education to support preservice teachers and promote student success through a state funded grant program. In all of these settings, Amanda shared and grew her passion for innovative classroom practices and strong connections with students, families, and colleagues. As a coach and trainer, Amanda supports schools in the implementation of the model through professional development, unlimited virtual coaching, and frequent onsite visits.  

Education: M.A.T., Concordia University-Portland; B.S., Liberal Studies: Pre Education, Oregon State University 

Outside of work: Amanda enjoys distance running, golfing, traveling, learning new languages, laughing and adventuring, and spending time with her husband and rescue pup.
