Prior to joining the BARR Team, Katrina Gunnels spent 23 years in education, five of which were spent as the inaugural BARR Coordinator of a large high school. Her career has been focused on advocating for and supporting high-needs students ranging in age from kindergarten to adult learners. As a coach and trainer, Katrina supports schools in the implementation of the model through professional development, unlimited virtual coaching, and frequent onsite visits.
