Dr. Shannon Essler-Petty has 26 years of education experience as a former middle school mathematics teacher, 14 years as a college mathematics pedagogy professor in the school of Education at the College of Saint Benedict/Saint John’s University in MN and 3 years as a BARR Coach and Trainer. As a coach and trainer, Shannon supports schools in the implementation of the model through professional development, unlimited virtual coaching, and frequent onsite visits.
