Should an attendee need to cancel, registration refunds will be granted based on the following guidelines:

How do I pay for registration?   

Credit Card: Visa and Mastercard are accepted 

Purchase Order: If you are unable to use a credit card, please reach out to Janka Arsenault, BARR’s Finance Manager, and she will guide you through the registration process.

Are discounts available? 

Early bird discount rates: 

Members: $750 Early Bird rate on or before January 31, 2023.

Non-members: $900 Early Bird rate on or before January 31, 2023.

Is the BARR 2023 National Conference being hosted virtually? 

No, the 2023 BARR National Conference will only be held as an in-person conference.

What meals are included with registration? 

All meals from Tuesday evening through Thursday lunch are included with your registration! Past conference attendees can attest that food is amazing at a BARR Conference – full meals every day. This is a $450 value.

What else is included in the registration fee?

Do I need to sign up for individual sessions or workshops after I register for the conference? 

No, you do not have to sign up for individual sessions or workshops.

Should I reserve my hotel room now?

Yes! BARR Center has a block of rooms reserved at a special rate that will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. You can book a room using the link on the website or contact the hotel directly. Room block ends March 29, 2023.

Remember to make your room reservations early and mention the BARR National Conference to receive the special rate. After the allocated rooms have been filled, reservations may be made at the regular room rate, if space is available.

Health and Safety at BARR Center events

We care about the health and safety of all our attendees. The conference planning team will continue to monitor city, state, and federal policies.

Is there parking at the hotel? 

Yes, Parking is available and complimentary for all guests and conference attendees.

What should I wear? 

You will be networking with schools, district leaders, and keynote speakers, so plan to wear business casual attire. The evenings in the desert can get chilly, so bring layers for the outdoor events.

Do I need to be a BARR School to attend?

No, you do not need to be implementing BARR or be part of a BARR school to attend the conference. Our general sessions, keynote speakers, and breakouts provide information and professional development for all.
